Jesus most important message was, “you must be born again” John 3:7. “…Except an man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5. My goal is to make sure you understand this one truth. We must be taken out of the kingdom of darkness and placed in the kingdom of God’s dear Son. Jesus did all the work to make this happen and there is no other way in. It’s as simple as BELIEVING in the FINISHED work of CHRIST.

When your mothers water broke, you were “born of water” “Flesh gives birth to flesh” Jn 3:6. From the beginning since the fall of man when we lost our spiritual connection with God who walked with us and  talked with us in the cool of the day Genesis 3:8, flesh has given birth to flesh, bearing blind, deaf and dead humans who are cut off from the Spirit of God, over and over for millennia.

The good news is “Spirit gives birth to Spirit". Romans 8:2 says, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. The way you are “born of the Spirit” is you must come to the Spirit of Life that was in Christ Jesus as he was God in the flesh here to redeem men to Himself, to restore mankind to the Spirit who created all things John 1:3

Romans 10:13 says, “Whoever calls on the name of the LORD JESUS will be saved!!! You will be reconnected to the Spirit of God who will walk with you and talk with you and reveal His perfect will for your life, which is, that you will be with Him forever as He intended when he formed you in your mother’s womb.

PRAY: “Lord Jesus, I choose to believe you lived and died for my sins so I can be reunited with you and have abundant life now and for all eternity. Give me a new heart and the power to serve you. I surrender all that I am to you and thank you for your great love for me.”

If you prayed that prayer, your Spirit was reconnected to God and he has all eternity to perfect you and make you into the image of His Son. Give yourself the grace, love and patience He has with you to change as He impowers you to let go of the dead things in your life and let go of the past and the person you think you are. You are on a very long journey of an eternal life in Christ.

Remember, only your spirit was born again. Your flesh will still die and cause you problems in this world but don’t be discouraged when you see sin still hanging around trying to stink up your life as Jesus has over come this worlds ways, sin and death. Nothing can separate you from the Love of God in Christ, not even your failures to serve Him perfectly!
